1965 Mercedes 190 FINTAIL
Mercedes distinctive W110 Fintail model was a popular mid–size Sa loon offered with the choice of four-cylinder petrol or diesel engines of 1.9 and 2.0-litre capacity respectively, a total of 356,199 of which were produced between 1961 and 1965.
This splendid-looking, time warp petro l example is reputed to have been first owned by the German Embassy. Finished in Dark Brown and trimmed in Red hide with matching carpets, it was the subject of a magazine article in September 2003, and is presently considered to have original four-door bodywork and engine, excellent interior trim , and superb paintwork and four-speed manual transmission.
Chrome mirrors fitted to both front wings as well as a chrome mirro r to drivers door – all in excellent condition. Front chrome lower side lights and upper wing side lights.
